Tomasz had been introduced to me by a mutual friend, and we’d become friends on Facebook. When he started to write about his diet, and how great he was feeling, I was interested and started to do some research into the way of life he described. With Tomasz’ help, I started to change my eating habits and, without really making much effort, the weight started to come off. It was easy to fit everything in around my family too- one of the worst things about a conventional diet, for me, is that cooking for the rest of my not-overweight-at-all family was tough and made me feel like I was putting them on my diet too! I also found that I had more energy and just generally felt better!
When, Tomasz started giving his circuits classes, I rather nervously decided to take the plunge and try it. I was very overweight and very unfit, and was worried that everyone else would be way ahead of me, but my concerns were unfounded as Tomasz makes it easy for everyone to work at their own level in the classes. I was hooked!
By the end of last year, I had already lost a dramatic amount of weight- and it was really quite painless, and I didn’t feel deprived, or like I was going to go back to eating like I had before. I had become much fitter and stronger too. Some of my friends from the circuits classes had taken part in Tomasz’ first ten week programme, and I could see the impressive results they were getting, so when he advertised for this ten week programme, I decided that I’d go for it.
The programme has been a lot of fun, as well as being educational and life enhancing. I’ve learned a lot about what I eat, and how to tweak my diet to achieve my goals. I rarely felt hungry, and knew what to do if I did! I’ve also really enjoyed the personal weights sessions with Tomasz- they haven’t been easy, but I have gained so much strength and fitness that I can hardly believe I’m the same person! Tomasz made the ten weeks interesting and gave us all a lot of individual attention. It was good to have the support of the other group members, and we were able to share a lot of recipes and tips, and it helped us stay accountable!
Over the course of the ten weeks, I have lost a further 14lb (6.35kg) in weight, gained lean mass and muscle, and dropped almost 10% body fat. Overall, since I started working with Tomasz, I have lost 50lb (22.3kg) and a rather frightening 28% body fat. Everywhere I go, people do double takes when they see me because there is so much less of me to see!
I would highly recommend this programme to anyone who really wants to understand how to eat for optimum health. If you want to lose weight and/or gain strength and fitness, those are very pleasant side effects to this programme too! I would also encourage anyone who is thinking about trying the circuits classes or personal training sessions to go for it- circuits has become so much a part of my life that I feel really unhappy if I have to miss a session!
I’d still like to lose a bit more weight, and consider my strength and fitness to be a work in progress, but I know that with Tomasz’ continued help and support, I will definitely achieve my goals. I’m absolutely delighted and astonished with how I look and feel. Best of all, I know that the changes I have made are for life, and that I have yo yo dieted and miserably calorie counted for the very last time- I’m never going back to my old life!
