Tomeks Naval background set him up well for the discipline needed to be a Gym Owner and Coach. He has trained in MMA and Kickboxing for 8 years, and trained others for 7, from Ironman Athletes to Professional Fighters to Special Force Operatives. After his coaching, he was invited to join the Special Force Operatives in their own training, experiencing first hand their training methods.

But Tomeks specialties lie in Nutrition and he has also been the Official Nutritionist to Chum Sut Martial Arts Club for over 4 years. He is one of the very few coaches in Ireland who managed to reverse freshly diagnosed type 2 diabetes.

Tom is an obsessive enthusiast for fitness, with every movement he makes intended to make him strong, faster or more flexible in some way. He is trained in MMA & is a senior student in the traditional art of Wing Tzun, has a passion for Gymnastics, Body Mechanics & Movement training.

Tom has helped motivate many members. He has successfully rehabilitated their squat & shoulder range of motion plus deal with injuries they have or have had in the past. He has also created programmes with movement progressions to help people step by step achieve their goals whilst getting stronger. All the while, passing on the confidence plus love for life that health & fitness has given him.

Jenni Sanders - Coach Intern

Coming from a background of martial arts also, Jenni has an encyclopaedia of knowledge when it comes to stretching and yoga. Since beginning Olympic weightlifting she has won gold and silver medals and she has developed her own brand and style of teaching yoga to make it specific to CrossFit and weightlifting making it not only super beneficial but enjoyable because it's explained in a way that gives you a reason to WANT to work on your mobility.

She is a seriously well rounded athlete that can motivate anyone to do anything and an essential part to the CrossFit Varangian team. Jenni has hyper mobility which can cause her to have terrible pain in her joints but we have yet to see it make her take a step back! Getting stronger every day Jenni is a perfect example to people that think they have excuses not to train!
